Site Visit Report- Redwood Road Dump VCP #121

Purpose of Site Visit: non-Impacted Soil Excavation Oversight
Observations:
DERR arrived on-site and met the SL Excavating foreman. Terracon is checking in daily but
could not come out this morning. Work is progressing. Soil with debris has been pushed up on
the east side due to trash from the neighboring property. The remaining soil has been stockpiled
and tested before hauling onto SLC property west of the site for beneficial reuse. Soil pushed up
on the east has been tested and is awaiting results. The soil will need to meet SLC physical
requirement (no debris) before leaving the site as well.
Water was observed on the northern end in the ditch area. Terracon/SLC are working with
UDEQ Water Quality to manage the ground/surface water as per the RAP.
