Purpose of Site Visit: non-Impacted Soil Excavation Oversight Observations: DERR arrived on-site and met the SL Excavating foreman. Terracon is checking in daily but was not out this morning during the visit. Work is progressing. Soil with debris has been pushed up on the east side due to trash from the neighboring property. Tires and large concrete debris will need to by physically separated before moving to the western portion of the landfill. The remaining soil has been stockpiled and tested before hauling onto SLC property west of the site for beneficial reuse. According to SL Excavating no soil sampling has failed for testing so far but some piles are still awaiting analytical results. They communicate closely with Terracon to determine what soil piles are ready to go off site. Water was observed on the northern end in the ditch area. Terracon/SLC/TOSA are working with UDEQ Water Quality to manage the ground/surface water as per the RAP.
