Date(s): 5/22/2024
Project Manager: Chris Howell
Purpose of Site Visit: RAP Oversight/ NOI Permit inspection
Observations:
DERR arrived on-site. JD Bush, contractor, was on the site installing utilities and managing
dewatering. I was told they coordinate with Terracon almost daily on progress. EK Bailey is on-
site processing imported fill to meet site Geotech requirements; the crusher is still on-site but
not operating. The backfill contractor, SL Excavating, was placing fill material along the west
side, moving from south to north. Approximately 1/3 of the excavated area has had at least
some backfill placed and compacted. The frac tank is set up on the south end of the site next to
the stormwater discharge point on Indiana Ave. Culinary water lines are run from the west of the
driveway to the tank to mix with the pumped water to meet permit requirements. No odors or
sheen were noted at the discharge point. The majority of the standing water has been removed
and discharge is intermittent as needed when the pumps turn on.
No issues were identified during the site visit.
