Monitoring Requirements Not Met for Utah Greenhouse Company
Our water system violated several drinking water standards over the past year. Even though these were not emergencies, as our employees, you have a right to know what happened and what
we did to correct the situations.
We are required to monitor the drinking water for specific contaminants on a regular basis. Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not our drinking water meets
health standards. In 2024, we did not complete all testing for contaminants and therefore cannot be sure of the quality of our drinking water during that time.
What should I do?
There is nothing you need to do at this time.
The table below list the contaminant(s) we did not properly test for during the last year, how often we are supposed to sample for these contaminants and how many samples we are supposed
to take, home many samples we took, when samples should have been taken, and the dates on which follow-up samples were or will be taken.

Samples will be taken between 06/01/2025 – 9/30/2025 as required by the State of Utah.
What happened? What is being done?
Due to turnover in staff at the farm these samples were simply missed during this required timeframe. Multiple individuals at the farm are now trained to take and track these samples
so this issue will not occur again.
When we were notified of the issue, we immediately contacted the State of Utah and the lab we use to run the testing and re-started the bacterial testing in November. Due to the timing
on the Lead and copper testing that must be done between June and September 30th we will ensure these tests are completed in 2025 during the next approved sampling window.

Debido a la rotación de personal en la granja, estasmuestrassimplemente se perdieronduranteesteperíodo de tiemporequerido. Varias personas en la granjaahoraestáncapacitadas para tomar
y rastrearestasmuestras, por lo que esteproblema no volverá a ocurrir.
Cuandonosnotificaron del problema, inmediatamentenospusimosencontacto con elestado de Utah y ellaboratorio que utilizamos para realizar las pruebas y reiniciamos las pruebasbacterianasennoviembre.
Debido al calendario de las pruebas de plomo y cobre que debenrealizarse entre junio y el 30 de septiembre, nosaseguraremos de que estaspruebas se completenen 2025 durante la próximaventana
de muestreoaprobada.
