TENTATIVE CALENDAR

October-December, 2005
- Zone A’s R.O. Plant Startup and Operational Testing begins.

- Kennecott submits drinking water system permit request to DEQ in October '05.

- Drinking water system permit approval anticipated by end of quarter, pending
completion of public comment period and approval by Drinking Water Board.

January-March, 2006
- Zone A R.O. Plant Startup and Operational Testing concludes at end of January.

- Municipal quality drinking water (per Three-Party Agreement) begins to be provided.

- Deep well drilling contract awarded by District.

July-September, 2006
- District to award feed water pipelines contract.

January-March, 2007
- District to award treatment plant contract.

July-September, 2007
- District to make decision on integrated (discharge to open waters of the Great Salt
Lake) vs. separate (continue discharge to Kennecott tailings impoundment) design by
September.

- District to award by-product disposal system contract.

October-December, 2007
- District to award deep well equipping contract.

January-March, 2009
- Zone B’s R.O. Treatment Plant begins start-up phase.
