Hansen, Allen & Luce, Inc. 859 West South Jordan Parkway, Suite 200 South Jordan, Utah 84095 RE: Zones 7 & 8 Storage Tank Soil Management Plan for the City of South Jordan Located in South Jordan, Salt Lake County, Utah Dear Mr. Stephenson: The Division of Environmental Response and Remediation (DERR) received the document entitled, Zones 7 & 8 Storage Tank Soil Management Work Plan, dated September 2023. This document details a new storage tank for the expansion of the Daybreak Development within Pressure Zones 7 and 8. The new 8.4 million-gallon tank will be located near the intersection of U-111 and 11800 South. The drinking water storage tank site will also include an access road, electric utilities, an emergency overflow and drain, a valve vault, and a 36-inch diameter connection to the 36-inch diameter transmission line to be constructed under a separate soil management plan. The storage tank site is within the Kennecott South Zone with proximity to Operable Unit (OU) 2, OU6, and OU25.
