Dear Ms.Weinel:
On April 16, 2024, a representative of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) conducted an inspection at the White Mesa Uranium Mill. Results of the inspection
were discussed with plant management at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of the activities conducted by Energy Fuels Resources (USA) Inc. as they relate to compliance with the Utah Radiation Control Rules and the conditions
of the license. The inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews of personnel, independent measurements, and observations by the
inspector.
Based on the findings documented during the inspection, the items reviewed were found to be in compliance with the Utah Radiation Control Rules and requirements for this license.
If you have any questions, please call Heather Mickelson at (385) 499-4875.
Sincerely,
Adam Wingate, Uranium Mills and Radioactive Materials Manager
