Box 1480 Park City, 84060 Subject: Approval of 2019 Water Line Installation Standards per R309-500-7; Park City Water System, System #22011, File #11282 This Approval expires on December 31, 2024 Dear Mr. McAffee: The Division of Drinking Water (the Division) received the following documents on June 7, 2019: 1. The 2019 water line installation drawings and specifications for Park City’s Water System, stamped and signed by Clint McAffee, P.E., and dated June 6, 2019. 2. The completed application form signed by Clint McAffee, P.E., and dated June 6, 2019., which formally designates: • Clint McAffee, P.E., as the Professional Engineer (PE) having direct responsibility for the design of the entire water, and • Clint McAffee, P.E., as the PE responsible for oversight of the hydraulic analysis of the entire water system. We completed our review of the 2019 water line installation drawings and specifications, and find they basically comply with the applicable portions of Utah's Rules for Public Drinking Water Systems in R309-550. On this basis, Park City Water System 2019 water line installation drawings and specifications are hereby approved. Park City Water System has met the criteria in R309-500-7 to install water lines up to 16 inches in diameter and is not required to obtain Plan Approval or an Operating Permit for the qualified water line projects. Clint McAffee Page 2 of 2 June 10, 2019 Please note the following restrictions to this approval: 1. This approval does not apply to booster pump stations. 2. If minimum separation between water and sewer lines cannot meet the requirements in R309-550-8, an exception must be obtained prior to water line construction. This Approval expires on December 31, 2024. You must notify the Division if there is a change to standard installation drawings and specifications or to the designated PE for design or hydraulic analysis during the term of this Approval. To continue using standard installation drawings and specifications for water transmission and distribution lines after the expiration date, you must submit a complete renewal application to the Division. Please maintain a copy of this letter with your permanent records for future reference.
