Hi Lance,
Sorry, a few weeks turned into more than a month to review this project. I have a couple of questions on the submittals
before issuing the equipping approval.
For the well equipping:
What was the stabilized drawdown for the well? The report and data did not seem to conclude that the 1950
gpm constant rate test resulted in stabilized drawdown. Is the equipped rate considered where it would be
stable? The excerpt from the report had the next step down in flow rate at 1600 gpm, where a 1750 gpm
pump is being installed.
For the chlorinator:
Since North Logan is above a population of 3300 people they will need to have a continuous analyzer
installed to monitor the point of entry (POE) residual. Since the chlorine injection is last on the discharge
piping where is the POE going to be located? By rule the POE needs to be before the first connection.
Sheet A1.0 called out Detail A for the chlorine vent outside on Sheet M3.0 but the detail does not exist on
that page. Is it somewhere else?
Please also confirm the chlorine vent line has a #14 screen.
What is the design chlorine dose rate for the gas chlorinator?
Just confirming but the well goes straight to the distribution system correct? Or does the water go into a
storage tank first before going to the distribution system?
