Staff on site have built temp containment for spill with
soil & excavator. Chicken Creek is a little over 2000 ft south of the spill, & is not anticipated to be
impacted. Clean Harbors is contracted for clean-up.
Synergy Petroleum was filling AST, the entire end of the tank blew off, emptying the entire
contents of the tank onto the ground. No secondary
containment was in place at the site. Spill is approximately 1500 gallons of red dye diesel into
soil.
