INCIDENT SUMMARY
A contractor was filling a diesel fuel tank attached to a cell tower, and left the 12-volt pump unattended. The fuel overflowed the secondary containment
funnel, and ran across a gravel road towards a dry wash. The visibly impacted soil covers an area approximately 45 feet long, and one foot wide. The
volume released is unknown, but estimated at 50 gallons. The release was discovered and stopped this morning, it is unknown when the overflow or
refill process began.
There are no storm drains or surface water impacted by the spill.
