To assist you with your review, please refer to Section 3.2 on page 6 for the excerpt we added regarding the hexavalent chromium sensitivity, and Section 5.0 on page 8 for the reference to sampling for arsenic and addressing the background threshold value. Please let us know if you any further questions or concerns about the work plan before providing your approval.   Thank you,       Expertise. Innovation. Commitment. Nationwide.                  Steve Faulk Project Manager August Mack Environmental, Inc.   Email: sfaulk@augustmack.com Phone: 317.916.8000 | Mobile: 317.997.8769   1302 North Meridian Street, Suite 300 Indianapolis, IN 46202 augustmack.com JX2830 - Semi Service - FSI Work Plan - REVISED.pdf 4156K Leigh Anderson <kanderson@utah.gov>Tue, Dec 10, 2024 at 3:31 PM To: Steve Faulk <sfaulk@augustmack.com> 12/10/24, 5:44 PM State of Utah Mail - Revised Work Plan - Reading Truck https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ik=5be3741f93&view=pt&search=all&permthid=thread-f:1818092224599649776&simpl=msg-f:181809222459964977…1/2 Hey Steve, I see the changes. I like the hex chrome change, it looks similar to how PCBs are called out under the soil section, and it makes sense to call out the hexchrome under the groundwater section. The arsenic change has the levels that will be compared called out in the bullet points on page 8 above it, however we would like MCLs to be listed in the bullet point about what we will be screening against. MCLs show up for some of the UGWPS but not all of them. You have elsewhere in the document that you will be using RSLs and MCLs, if you can give us this change in those bullet points so this is consistent and what you discussed with Bill about using RSLs and MCLs then we could accept. I have added in MCLs to the intended screening levels under section 5.0 as you requested. The updated work plan is attached. As you mentioned, with the addition of the MCLs to the text, we will consider this work plan approved and move forward with sampling tomorrow.
