Subject: Notice of Increased Monitoring for Wall Brothers Well No 1, UTAH25189 Chris Wall:
According to the Division of Drinking Water’s (the Division) records, the new source chemical analysis results for Wall Brothers Well #1 (identified as WS001) were received on November 5, 2024. Using these results the routine monitoring frequencies for the Wall Brothers Well #1 (WS001) have been established pursuant to applicable portions of R309-205-5.
Annual nitrate and triennial sulfate samples are now required from the Wall Brothers Well #1. These samples should be collected directly from the wellhead and not from a location within the distribution system. To ensure the results are reported to the Division and that the water system receives credit for colleting the samples, please label the nitrate and sulfate samples as collected
from facility ID ‘WS001’ on all laboratory paperwork. The monitoring requirements for this well are given below. An updated monitoring schedule can be viewed any time at waterlink.utah.gov under the Water Monitoring section.
