2175 W 3000 S Ste 200 Heber, UT 84032 Subject: Notice of Increased Source Monitoring for Daniel Municipal Water; UTAH26005 Ryan Taylor: According to the Division of Drinking Waters (the Division) records, ethylbenzene was detected at 0.65µg/L in the October 22, 2024 sample collected from the Daniel Well #1 (identified as WS003). The Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) for ethylbenzene is 10000 µg/L. Although this result was below the MCL, in accordance with R309-205-6(2)(j)(i) the Daniel Well #1 (WS003) is required to be sampled for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) each calendar quarter that the well provides water to the distribution system. The next sample is due sometime between January 1,
2025, and March 31, 2025. This quarterly requirement may be reduced once a minimum of two quarterly samples are collected, and
the results are reliably and consistently below the MCLs.The updated monitoring requirements for this facility are given below.
