Andy Garland: According to the Division of Drinking Water’s (the Division) records, the BISON BLUFFS WELL 15C (identified as WS024) has met the requirements given in R309-205-5(4)(b) and now
qualifies for reduced nitrate monitoring in which one sample is required per calendar year. The next nitrate sample collected from the BISON BLUFFS WELL 15C (WS024) is due sometime between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025. Following the November 6, 2023 sample in which a nitrate concentration of 7.4mg/L was
detected, Mountain Regional Water SSD collected four quarterly samples throughout 2024. In 2024, the average levels of nitrate in the BISON BLUFFS WELL 15C were less than 1 mg/L. This change is reflected in the table below and is available to view anytime online at waterlink.utah.gov.
