IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DRINKING WATER
Monitoring Requirements Not Met for Riverbend Grove Spring LLC
Our water system violated drinking water standards over the past year. Even though these were not emergencies, as our customers, you have a right to know what happened and what we did
to correct these situations.
We are required to monitor your drinking water for specific contaminants on a regular basis. Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not our drinking water meets
health standards. During the 2023 year, we did not test for bacteria including E.coli in the month of August and therefore cannot be sure of the quality of our drinking water during
that month.
What should I do?
There is nothing you need to do at this time.
Total Coliform was absent in the previous month (July) as well as the month following (September).
What happened? What is being done?
Poor planning in the month of August put us in this predicament. Late in August we met with DDW on site and hiked the spring to look at the box etc. After the evaluation, we took the
opportunity to clean the collection box and make needed minor repairs. We also did minor work on the tanks access locations. This work made testing impossible as we were already at the
end of the month. We should have tested before beginning the assessment and will do that next time.
