MONITORING REQUIREMENTS NOT MET FOR VERNON WATERWORKS SSD
Ourwater system viotated severat drinkingwater standards this year. Eventhoughthese
were not emergencies as our customers" you have the right to know what happened and
what we did to correct this situation.
We are required to monitor your drinking water for specific contaminants on a regutar
basis. Resutts of regutar monitoring are an indicator of whether our drinking water meets
heatth standards. During the time period ot )anuary 2024 we did not monitor or test for
contaminants and therefore cannot be sure of the quatity of drinking water that time.

There is nothing you need to do currently.
Betow is a list of the contaminant we did not propertytest for during January 2024, how
often we are supposed to sample forthis contaminant and how many samptes we are
supposed to take, how many samples we took, when samptes should have been taken, and
the date on which fottow up samptes were taken.

What happened? What is being done?
On February 12,2024,iow samples were taken from four different sources, the results
were negative for Cotiform.
