Ogden, UT 84404 801-259-7614 westwarrenwtr@gmail.com September 26, 2023 RE: Missed Routine Bacteria Samples June 2023 TO: Consumers of the West Warren-Warren Water Improvement District The water system is required to collect a routine bacteriological water sample for analysis each month. Due to a problem with the courier from the Weber-Morgan Health Department to the Chemtech Ford Laboratory, the sample taken for the month of June was submitted to the health department but never arrived at the lab. The problem wasn’t found until after the month of June was over. According to the State of Utah Public Drinking Water and Division of Drinking Water, the water system must report the lack of testing to the consumers. The water system has never missed a sample and every attempt is made to be compliant with all rules and regulations put forth by the state. The samples from May and July both were submitted without issue and the results were negative for bacteria. Since June, changes have been made and new protocols have been established to provide proper documentation when samples are submitted to the health department to prevent this problem from reoccurring. Thank you for your continued trust in the West Warren-Warren Water District. Sincerely, Melissa Murray, Clerk West Warren-Warren Water Improvement District
