Jennifer,
Thanks for taking my call earlier today regarding our CAP. The above attachments are some of the
repairs that have been done. One is the check valve that we had for quite some time, but didn’t know it. That was not on
our CAP, but just points we have carried, but would like to get removed. The next one is the 700 S. pump to waste air gap,
that was on the CAP but should now be removed. The third picture is the overflow and drain outlet for our HAFB tank that
we spoke about. We have not used the well or the tank that the well feeds at site ST002 for about 3 years or so. It is only
to supplement Weber Basin in summer months to keep up with demand and stay within our allotment from Weber Basin.
First, can we please place that site in “Inactive” please since it’s not being used at this time? We also discussed what is
it that we need to do to this site, because from my understanding, when that site was created, due to it being on Hill Air
Force Base we could not have any above ground structures outside of what they approved already. I’m not sure if that’s
the case but if we could have an answer on how to move forward there, that would be great.
So just to recap, all the points for HAFB site ST002, will remain in pending status due to it being placed
“inactive” besides the 5 points for the check valve at that location will be completely removed. The airgap for the 700 S.
pump to waste will be removed as well. Does that sound right? A couple of things to mention. I spoke with Ryan Dearing
today and he is currently looking into the 700 S. no fluoride sampling tap and getting back to me, and hopefully we can
remove those points as well. We dug down and tapped onto to put a sampling tap, however it daylights to the tank so
there is no pressure to take the sampling from. At that site, we blend with Weber Basin and so to take the sample after the
tank is blended with Weber Basin’s fluoride at that point. Hopefully, he can get me some direction on how to get those
points removed. Thanks again for your help on all of this, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Have a
great Thanksgiving!
