Dear Mr. Anderson:
This letter is to inform you representatives of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control(Division) have reviewed the 2023 Annual Meteorological Monitoring Report (prepared
by Trinity Consultants) in accordance with Part 1.H.10 of Ground Water Quality DischargePermit, No. UGW450005 (Permit) submitted on February 20, 2024 (DRC-2024-004586, CD-2024-034).
The inspection assessed monitoringactivities and meteorology conditionsat the Clive site as required by the conditions of the Permit.
Based on the findings documented during the inspection, the items reviewed were found to be in compliance with the requirements of the Permit. However, the Division requests that future
reports prepared by Trinity Consultants and supplied by EnergySolutionsinclude all raw data used in the development of graphs, tables and figures presented in the final report.
Additionally, please be advised thatannual precipitation of 9.32 inches or above for twoconsecutive years shall elicit a reevaluation of the Open Cell Time Limitation as per Part 1.E.6
of the Permit. If the annual precipitation for the 2024 meteorological year should be greater than 9.32 inches, the Division shall provide notification of their decision to complete
a reevaluation at that time.
