Radioactive Material License UT 2300249 and Ground Water Quality Discharge Permit No. UGW450005
Dear Mr. Rogers:
In a letter dated March 22, 2024, EnergySolutions LLC, filed an amendment request (DRC-2024-005038, CD-2024-057) to the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division)
asking the Division to amend Radioactive Material License No. UT 2300249. In conjunction, EnergySolutions requested that the Ground Water Quality Discharge Permit UGW450005 be modified
to conform with the proposed amendment request.
The Division held a public hearing regarding this matter on September 5, 2024. No comments were received during the public comment period. The Division considers the administrative record
relating to this amendment request to now be complete and adequate to support the Director of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Director’s) final agency action.

After reviewing the complete administrative record, the Director hereby approves the 28th amendment of EnergySolutions’ Radioactive Material License UT2300249 and a conforming modification
of the Ground Water Quality Discharge Permit UGW450005.
