Hi Erich,
I'm reviewing the drinking water source protection plan for the Bryce Woodward Well, received on December 28, 2022. I noticed that the recordkeeping material
you included did not show any discussion on source protection. Specifically, best management practices of household hazardous waste and septic systems.
Since your original DWSP plan assessed residences/septic as uncontrolled potential contamination sources, the management strategy the system agreed to
was to distribute educational material. See the attached letter. Can you confirm this was implemented in the last update cycle (six years)?
Management strategies need to be implemented at least once every update cycle. Systems must provide copies of the education material and dates of when
the strategies were implemented. If this was completed, please provide a copy of what was distributed/posted and an approximate date of when. If this has not
been completed, please do so as soon as possible and provide this information. By rule, systems are required to implement management strategies, therefore, I
can not approve of your update until I receive confirmation.
I can provide 90 days from the date of this email before a formal disapproval letter is drafted. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks

Erich,
In addition to my previous email, I noticed that the meeting minutes mention that the well pump was recently changed. This pump change was not mentioned in
the updated DWSP plan. Can you confirm the max equipped pump rate for the new pump?
