Due to groundwater concentrations in MW-1 and MW-2 being above the DERR cleanup guidelines, the DERR is requesting continued quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling, at least through April 2025. Sampling events are approximately October/November 2024, January 2025, and April 2025. The quarterly monitoring reports should be submitted to the DERR within 50 days after each event. Once the final groundwater monitoring report has been submitted, the DERR will evaluate the release to determine if it qualifies for no further action (closure) or if additional work is required. Petroleum storage tank (PST) assessment and cleanup activities must be supervised by a Utah-Certified Consultant. All environmental samples must be collected by a Utah-Certified sampler following sampling protocols as outlined in Utah Admin. Code R311-205. Environmental samples must be analyzed for both gasoline and diesel constituents using the methods indicated in the Environmental Media Sampling Handbook (June 1, 2021) available on the DERR website.
