Incident Summary
Enviro Care received initial telephone notification at approximately 13:52 hours on 8/8 2024,
requesting services for a Diesel release to the ground in South Ogden, Utah. An Enviro Care Crew
was initiated, loaded needed supplies to minimize and abate the release, then the Enviro Care Crew
was dispatched to the site location. The Enviro Care Crew held a tailgate safety meeting at the site
and discussed operational standards and goals. The release occurred at Sinclair at 925 Chambers
St. On arrival ECI crew noted that the spill is not diesel and is actually gasoline. Enviro Care
response team began cleanup of contamination on the ground, where safe to do so. ECI response
team began applying additional cleaning agents and began cleaning up the impacted area. Once the
Vacuum Truck arrived the crew clean the area with pressurized water. The Crew then enlisted the
help of the local FD for additional water support for cleaning the storm drains. Once assigned
work areas were cleaned, ECI loaded up to demobilize back to ECI shop.
