Hi Blake,

After review of the Work Plan for Subsurface Investigation and Indoor Air Sampling for the PTI Property (Work Plan) dated
November 21, 2024, the division has the following comment to be addressed.
The Work Plan indicates that the proposed surface water samples “will be collected as a grab sample from the centerline of
Millcreek at a depth interval of 60 to 80% of the flow depth.” However, based on the embankment height and the preferential,
horizontal migration pathway for Site constituents of potential concern (COPCs) to infiltrate Millcreek, it is recommended that
the surface water samples be collected near the bank where the flow of water is less rapid and infiltration is most likely to
occur. Please update the Work Plan to indicate that the surface water samples will be collected adjacent the bank on the north
side of Millcreek.
