The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (the Division) has received your request for approval of Waste Stream 0637-02 for management at your Mixed Waste Facility. The
request for approval of this waste stream was received by the Division in EnergySolutions’ letter CD-2024-142.
Waste Stream 0637-02 consists of oily liquid generated during natural gas pipelinemaintenance operations.EnergySolutions will treat this waste by thermaldesorption (VTD) at the Clive
Mixed Waste Facility to meet the treatment standardsdescribed in R315-268.Your CD-2024-142 letter includes the completed Radioactive Waste Profile Record and confirms waste stream0637-02
to be within Class A limits as defined by Utah Rule R313-15-1009.
The Licensee may receive and manage the above waste stream provided the waste is received, treated and disposed in accordance with your RCRA Part B Permit and Radioactive Material License
