Dear Mr. Gurr:
EnergySolutions (ES) submitted to the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control DWMRC an Revised 2023 combined surety for review on June 20, 2024. The DWMRC has reviewed the
submittal.We have one question regarding calculations and cost items in the submittal. The question is stated below:
Please explain, justify, or update the calculation error in the LLRW calculation sheet where an uninflated unit cost was used for the Management Fee. However, the recalculated Grand
Total for the LLRW surety in the calculation spreadsheet, does not include the uninflated number in Att II-7-1 and the comparison sheet showing the current verse proposed values.
Specifically, cell D92 in summary sheet Att II-7-1 should be $2,065,008.87 rather than $1,991,329.67 shown.
Please provide the requested information within 30 days of receipt of this letter.
