Dear Vance Bostock:The Division of Drinking Water (the Division) received a request for an Operating Permit for Wasatch Peaks Ranch (WPR) Interior Epoxy Coat Lining Tank 1 (ST001) from
Will Bowman (WPR) on November 7, 2024. The Division issued Plan Approval for this project on October 28, 2024.
Our understanding of the project was the installation of an interior epoxy lining to Tank 1 (ST001). Theepoxy lining satisfied the UDEQ rule requirements stated in R309-545-11. The epoxy
coatingis Structure Guard - Water by Vortex. Structure Guard - Water is a 100% solids epoxycoating made for plural component spray application and is NSF 61 certified for pipe and storagetank
installation.
We have received the following information for Wasatch Peaks Ranch (WPR) Interior Epoxy Coat Lining Tank 1 (ST001):
Certification of Rule Conformance with plan approval conditions by a professional engineer.
Satisfactory bacteriological results as evidence of proper disinfection and flushing.
Non-Detect results for VOC analysis.
We have determined that all conditions for operating permit issuance have been met. On this basis, an Operating Permit for Wasatch Peaks Ranch (WPR), Interior Epoxy Coat Lining Tank
1 (ST001)is hereby issued as constituted by this letter. You may now place tank 1 (ST001)in service in your water system.
Please maintain a copy of this letter with your permanent records for future reference.
