Re: Union Pacific Provo Line Voluntary Cleanup Program Site, located at 1000 South 500
West, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. Parcel Numbers 15-12-501-057, 15-12-
501-063, 15-12-302-005, and a portion of 15-12-501-014.
Dear Mr. Posilovich:
The Division of Environmental Response and Remediation (DERR) received a copy of the
Remedial Action Completion Report, dated January 10, 2024, for the above referenced site. The
document was reviewed as required under the provisions of the Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP).
Based on the review, the DERR does not have any additional technical comments on the
document and accepts it under the VCP. With the acceptance of the Remedial Action Completion
Report, Salt Lake City Metro, LLC has completed the terms and conditions of the Voluntary
Cleanup Agreement (VCA) executed March 25, 2021, except for coverage of the DERR's
administrative costs noted in the VCA.
Enclosed is a Certificate of Completion (COC) for the site. The DERR has sent the COC to
the Salt Lake County Recorder to be recorded on the property title. The DERR appreciates the
efforts of Salt Lake City Metro, LLC to return this property to beneficial use.
