SITE NAME: Sommers Auto Wrecking

SITE LOCATION: 647 WEST 3300 SOUTH, South Salt Lake, Utah

DATE OF SITE VISIT: 12, August, 2024

PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: DERR (Lincoln Grevengoed) visited to observe ongoing remedial work and to
possibly collect split samples.

FIELD OBSERVATIONS: Soil excavation from Exc-4 was continuing when the DERR arrived on Site. The
components of the Baker tank were delivered while the DERR was on Site. Dewatering using the tank was
not scheduled to begin until tomorrow when an expert would be onsite. The DERR observed the collection
of several sidewall samples from Exc-4. The DERR collected two split samples from Exc-4. Some of the
trucks leaving the Site did not have tarps covering the soil. Pads were being thrown into a pit to try and
soak up some of the petroleum contamination. The DERR was informed that the pads would be
containerized and disposed of properly. The truck with the water tank was observed wetting the truck
path.
