The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control has completed its review of the 2016 Annual Tailings
Cells Wastewater Sampling Report (Report). The purpose of the review was to determine compliance with the
following documents:
l. White Mesa Uranium Mill Ground Water Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Revision 7.2, dated June 6,
2012.
2. Groundwater Discharge Permit No. UGW370004 (Permit) signed on August 24,2012.
3. Tailings and Slimes Drain Sampling Program (Plan), Revision 2.1 dated July 30, 2012.
Based on the review, the Report is in compliance with the Permit, the QAP and the Plan. This letter constitutes
closeout of the 2016 Annual Tailings Cells Wastewater Sampling Report. If you have any questions, please call
