Box 144850 Salt Lake City, UT 84116-4850 Re: Transmittal of Revised Groundwater Monitoring Field Data Worksheet, White Mesa Mill, Groundwater Discharge Permit UGW30007, Quality Assurance Plan, Revision 7.2, dated June 6,2012 Dear Mr. Lundberg: Pursuant to our July 15, 2013 telephone conversation with Phil Goble and Tom Rushing of your staff, Energy Fuels Resources (USA) Inc. ("EFRI") is submitting a revised Groundwater Monitoring Field Data Worksheet. Based on discussions with your staff, EFRI has removed the fields for calculating and reporting the averages of the field parameters because these fields are not used for the determination of compliance. The EFRI Quality Assurance Plan ("QAP") requires Utah Division of Radiation Control ("DRC") approval prior to the removal of any data collection activity. All field parameters and associated compliance data are still required and recorded and no data collection activity has been changed or removed. The changes made to the Field Data Worksheet do not eliminate any data collection activities; the change eliminates the need to calculate a numeric average which is not used for the determination of compliance. The revised Field Data Worksheets will be implemented beginning with the 4th Quarter 2013 sampling events. If you have any questions, please contact the undersigned at (303) 389-4132.
