0, 2010. A public comment period was held regarding the Permit modifications, which closed on May
The Utah Division of Radiation Control (DRC) received verbal and written public comments during the
public participation period for the modifications to the Permit and License. After the public comment
period, the DRC made some additional typographical modifications to the Permit and License. Therefore, it
was not necessary to have an additional public comment period and the DRC proceeded to incorporate the
modifications into the Permit and License.
These modifications have been incorporated into Ground Water Quality Discharge Permit UGW370004
(Permit) and Radioactive Materials License No. UTI 900479, effective June 17, 2010. Enclosed are copies
ofthe PPS, the Final Revised Permit and License Amendment.
We request that you carefully read the final Permit revision and License Amendment to ensure future
compliance with its provisions. DUSA is now authorized to begin construction of Tailings Cell 4B for
embankments, liner systems, etc... DUSA will not be authorized to use the cell for tailings disposal until
Executive Secretary approval of a revised surety and the Tailings Cell 4B As-Built Report. If you have any
