Dear Mr. Frydenkmd:
On March 22, 2010 DUSA provided (by e-mail) a redline/srrikeout version of the DUSA QAP. In
this same email, DUSA also submitted a clean, blackline copy of the March 22, 2010 DUSA QAP
(Rev. 6). These changes to the DUSA QAP are a result of a February 16, 2010 conference call
where ways to improve the QAP were discussed.
Examples of the most significant changes to DUSA QAP Rev. 6 included:
• Addition of groundwater depth measurements at the new Nitrate wells (TWN-1 - TWN-
19) were added to Section 6.1.1 (e).
• Due the recent Pennit Modification, some groundwater monitoring frequencies have
changed. Section 6.2.1(a) was changed to reflect the revised Permit.
• All water produced during well purging will be containerized. Containerized water will be
disposed of in any of the tailings cells.
After review of both of these documents, this letter serves as the Executive Secretary approval of
the March 22, 2010 DUSA QAP (Rev. 6), which is now in effect.
