Christopher Swenson: According to the Division of Drinking Water’s (the Division) records, Canyonlands NP – Needles District HQ has completed six months of iron, manganese and turbidity sampling at the
Needles Water Building Chlorinator (identified as TP004). This facility now qualifies for reduced monitoring. Iron, manganese and turbidity samples are now due on a quarterly basis. The next set of samples are due sometime between October 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024.
The updated monitoring requirements for the Needles Water Building Chlorinator (TP004) are given below. An updated monitoring schedule can be viewed any time at waterlink.utah.gov under the Water Monitoring section.
