Director October 15, 2024 Jenny Schrimshaw Old Meadows Water Co 5215 N 2300 W Cedar City, UT 84721 Subject: Notice Decreased Monitoring Requirements for Old Meadows Water Co; UTAH11043 Jenny Schrimshaw: According to the Division of Drinking Water’s (the Division) records, the Old Meadows Well Repl-1 (WS004) has met the qualifications for reduced volatile organics monitoring. The quarterly toluene sample requirement has been removed, and only one volatile organics sample is due each year. The next volatile organics sample is due sometime between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025. The decision was made upon the receipt of the August 8, 2024 volatile organics result, in which no volatile organics were detected. This fulfills the reduced monitoring requirement given in R309-205-6(2)(j)(ii). The updated monitoring requirements for the Old Meadows Well Repl-1 (WS004) are given below. An updated monitoring schedule can be viewed any time at waterlink.utah.gov under the Water Monitoring section.
