Director October 15, 2024 Eric Hawkes Emigration Improvement District PO Box 58945 Salt Lake City, UT 84158 Subject: Notice of Decreased Source Monitoring for Emigration Improvement District; UTAH18143 Eric Hawkes: According to the Division of Drinking Water’s (the Division) records, a pesticide sample was collected from the Freeze Creek Well (identified as WS001) and the Well #2 (WS002) on June 24, 2024. The results of the analysis show no detections of pesticides in either source. These sources now qualify for reduced pesticide monitoring in which one sample is due every three years. The next pesticide samples from the Freeze Creek Well (WS001) and the Well #2 (WS002) is due sometime between January 1, 2026, and December 31, 2028. These updates are reflected in the table below and are available to view anytime online at waterlink.utah.gov.
