Subject: Notice of Increased Routine Monitoring for Mount Air Subdivision; UTAH18134
Frederic Stromness: On August 21, 2024, a complete source analysis was collected from the Mt. Air Well (identified as WS001). Using the results of these analyses, the routine monitoring requirements for the Mt.
Air Well (WS001) have been established in accordance with R309-205. The routine monitoring requirements for this well are given below. An updated monitoring schedule can be viewed any time at waterlink.utah.gov under the Water Monitoring section.

Reduced Volatile Organics and Radionuclides Monitoring Pursuant to R309-205-7(1)(b)(i) all community water systems must collect quarterly radionuclide samples to satisfy the initial monitoring requirements. A reduced frequency of either one sample every three, six or nine years will be established once four quarters of

radionuclide samples have been received. The Division of Drinking Water (the Division) requires three more radionuclide samples before a reduced schedule can be established.
In the August 21, 2024, chemical analysis Xylenes, Total was detected at 0.00182 mg/L. This
result requires quarterly monitoring of the Mt Air Well pursuant to R309-205-6(2)(j). This requirement may be reduced to one volatile organic contaminant sample per calendar year following two quarterly sample submissions.
