According to the Division of Drinking Water’s (the Division) records, four radionuclide samples were collected from Well #1 (identified as WS001) between November 22, 2023 through July 8, 2024. This fulfills the initial monitoring requirements for Well #1. This source now qualifies for
reduced monitoring.
A radionuclide sample is now required from Well #1 once every nine years. The next radionuclide sample is due sometime between January 1, 2029 and December 31, 2037.
The updated monitoring requirements for Well #1 are given below. An updated monitoring
schedule can be viewed any time at waterlink.utah.gov under the Water Monitoring section.
