Temporary closure requirements:
When a PST systern is ternporarily closed. the owner/operator must:
o contintte operation and maintenance olcorrosion protection on tanks. lines. f-lex connectors. and otlier metallic system components.
o contintte operation and maintenance oirelease detection OR empty the PST system to less than I inch ofproduct.
When a PST system is temporarily closed tbr 3 months or more, the o',vncr/operator must alsor leavr'vent lines open and tirnctioning
o cap and secure all other lines, pumps, manways. and ancillary ecluipment
o send a properly-completed Ternporary Closr"rrc'Notice lorm to the DERR/PST Secrion.
