Subject: Review of Pretest Protocol dated July 16, 2024

On July 15, 2024, DAQ received a test notification for the testing of one (1) Caterpillar 3516B engine,
one (1) Caterpillar 3516J engine, two (2) Waukesha F3524GSI engines, one (1) Caterpillar 3306TA
engine, three (3) Waukesha L7044GSI engines, and one (1) Waukesha F18GSI engine located at Taylor
31-3A-22 Pad; Zubiate III 22-4C-22; Shiner 30-3A-22 Pad; Crozier 2-1A-32; Against the Wind 2-2B-32;
and Myrin Ranch II 32-4B-23 in Duchesne County, UT. On July 16, 2024, DAQ received a revised
protocol which updated the engine at Crozier 2-1A-32 from a Caterpillar 3306TA engine to a Caterpillar
G3516Plus engine. Testing will be performed during the August 19, 2024, through August 23, 2024, test
campaign to determine compliance with the emission limits found in 40 CFR 60, Subpart JJJJ.

PROTOCOL CONDITIONS:

1. RM 1 used to determine sample velocity traverses: OK
2. RM 2 used to determine gas velocity and volumetric flow rate: OK
3. RM 3A used to determine dry molecular weight of the gas stream: OK
4. RM 320 used to determine NOx, CO, H2O, and VOC emissions: OK

DEVIATIONS: No deviations stated in the protocol.

CONCLUSION: The protocol appears to be acceptable.
