Box 519 Heber City, Utah 84032 Subject:Approval of 20204 Water Line Installation Standards per R309-500-7; Jordanelle Special Service District, System #26086, File #13290 Twin Creeks Special Service District, System #26080, File #13292 North Village Special Service District, System #26096, File #13291 Wolf Creek Ranch, System #26091, File #13294 This Approval expires on December 31, 2029 Dear Max Covey: The Division of Drinking Water (the Division) received the following completed documents on February 22, 2023, for Jordanelle Special Service District (SSD), Twin Creeks Special Service District (SSD), North Village Special Service District (SSD) and Wolf Creek Ranch: The 2024 water line installation drawings and specifications, stamped and signed by Steve Jackson, P.E., and dated October 17, 2024. Review comments were provided on February 23, 204 and revised drawings and specifications were received on October 17, 2024. The completed application form signed by Steve Jackson and dated February 22, 2023, which formally designates: Steve Jackson, P.E., as the Professional Engineer (PE) having direct responsibility for the design of the entire water system, and Justin Dietrich, P.E., as the PE responsible for oversight of the hydraulic analysis of the entire water system. We completed our review of the 2024 water line installation drawings and specifications, and find they basically comply with the applicable portions of Utah's Rules for Public Drinking Water Systems in R309-550. On this basis, Jordanelle SSD’s2024 water line installation drawings and specifications are hereby approved. It is our understanding that Jordanelle SSD manages and operates the following systems which are covered under this approval: Twin Creeks Special Service District, System #26080, File #13292 North Village Special Service District, System #26096, File #13291 Wolf Creek Ranch, System #26091, File #13294 Jordanelle SSD, Twin Creeks SSD, North Village SSD and Wolf Creek Ranch have met the criteria in R309-500-7 to install water lines up to 16 inches in diameter and are not required to obtain Plan Approval or an Operating Permit for the qualified water line projects. Please note the following restrictions to this approval: 1. This approval does not apply to booster pump stations. 2. If minimum separation between water and sewer lines cannot meet the requirements in R309-550-8, an exception must be obtained prior to water line construction.This Approval expires on December 31, 2029. You must notify the Division if there is a change to standard installation drawings and specifications or the designated PE for design or hydraulic analysis during the term of this Approval. To continue using standard installation drawings and specifications for water transmission and distribution lines after the expiration date, you must submit a complete renewal application to the Division.Please maintain a copy of this letter with your permanent records for future reference.
