Pursuant to the Boiler and Process Heater National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air pollutants
Subpart DDDDD, this letter fulfills the initial notification required by 40 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)
63.7 545(c).
On 6 September 2023, a contractor for Hill Air Force Base (AFB) completed actual startup of tr.vo newboilers considered affected sources under 40 CFR 63, Subpart DDDDD.

The listed boilers are subject to Title V Operating Permit (TVOP) I 100007004 condition II.8.53.g, whichstatesthatforeachaffectedemissionunitwithastartuponorafter3l January20l3,thepermitteeshall submitaninitial notification, as specified in 40 CFR 63.9(b)(4) and (5), not later than 3b days after the actual date ofstartup.Hill AFB failed to meet the 30-day requirement and will be submitting a separatedeviation report in accordancewith condition I.S.2.c of TVOP 1100007004.
