The New Source Performance Standards for Small Industrial-Commercial-lnstitutional Steam
Generating Units (NSPS Boilers) in Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations Part (CFR) 60 Subpart Dc
requires reporting the type offuel other than natural gas combusted during the reporting period I Jul2023
to 31 Dec 2023.
For the indicated reporting period the NSPS Boilers subject to fuel reporting were in compliance
with regulatory requirements and certain boilers listed in Table I are subject to fuel sulfur limits because
distillate oil was combusted during a natural gas supply interruption period. Boilers combusting distillate
oil are required to submit semiannual reports in accordance with 40 CFR 60.48c and the required
information is provided in attachment 1.

Attachment I - Distillate Oil Fuel Supplier Certification
DLA Energy Bulk Petroleum Services Direct Delivery Fuels is the fuel supplier providing
acquisition and material management of commercial fuels delivered directly to military and
federal civilian customers.
For the period beginning I July 2023 and ending 3l December 2023, no fuel oil was
delivered. Only fuel that meets the definition of "Distillate Oil" in 40 CFR 60.41c was
combusted in the NSPS boilers.
Diesel Fuel (DSS), National Stock Number (NSN) 9140-01-541-6760, meets the definition of
Distillate Oil because it complies with the specifications for fuel oil number 2, as defined by
the American Society for Testing and Materials.
