Paul,

Thanks for your input. Attached are revised Sheets 7, 8, and 17 based on your comments.

1. The smooth nose sample tap has been moved to the tee right off the pump discharge head on Sheet
7.
2. I have added Item ‘WW’ to the Pipe Materials Schedule on Sheet 7 for a downturned and screened
vent pipe from the air/vac valves. Sheets 7 and 8 have been revised to show the vent pipes on the
plan and section views.
3. The light and fan switches on Sheet 17 have been revised to show on the building exterior next to the
chlorine room door.
4. The POE will be EP002, as existing.
5. The dimensions for the pump pedestal are shown on Sheet 12 of the structural drawings. No
dimensions are shown on the piping drawings to keep the keynotes legible.
6. We have not provided an air vent for the well casing on any of the previous wells and they seem to
operate OK. There are water pipes and electrical conduits located around the discharge head and we
are concerned about putting additional obstacles around the pump that would make servicing more
difficult. We would prefer to not provide a vent but will add it if you want it.
7. Also attached is a page from the pump submittal that shows a 1-1/2” sounder pipe for measuring the
drawdown. It is included in the pump supply package.

We do appreciate your comments and help on our projects. Please let me know if you have any other
concerns.
