FIELD OBSERVATIONS:
- Met with Stephen Maliszeski of Terracon.
- Remainder of soil is being excavated from the higher contamination within Zone 1. Most of the
soil stockpile has been removed.
- Anticipate finishing soil excavation today or tomorrow (Wednesday).
- Confirmation soil sampling will be conducted Wednesday and maybe into Thursday, depending on
XRF screening results.
- Terracon will also be screening the site access road for impacts based on truck traffic at the site.
The ground underneath the truck decon station will also be screened and sampled.
- Decontamination station is set up at the exit from Zone 1.
- Contractor is spraying water on the site access road for dust suppression.
- Dump trucks loaded with excavated soil are covered for transport.

Sampling was not conducted during the site visit. Screening by XRF was conducted to guide excavation.

Soil remediation appears to be conducted according to the Corrective Action Plan. Soils are screened
