FIELD OBSERVATIONS:
- Terracon not onsite. Kolter Dudley with the excavation contractor onsite operating the trackhoe.
- Soil is being excavated from the higher contamination within Zone 1. Most of the soil stockpile
has been removed.
- Decontamination station is set up at the exit from Zone 1.
- Contractor is spraying water on the site and access road for dust suppression.
- Side-dump trucks loaded with excavated soil are covered for transport.
- Mr. Dudley estimated that soil excavation will continue for another week.
