Enclosed please find a copy of the proposedSTIPULATION AND CONSENT ORDER (SCO) and Penalty Narrative that will be available for public review and comment. In accordance with Utah Admin.
Code R315-124-34, the public comment period will last at least thirty (30) days and will run from Monday, September 30, 2024, to October 30, 2024.
After consideration of public comments, the SCO may be presented to the Utah Waste Management and Radiation Control Board (Board), or the SCO may be revised for your consideration. If
the SCO is presented to the Board, the SCO will be presented as an informational item on October 10, 2024, in Salt Lake City and for final action on November 14, 2024, in Salt Lake City.
If the SCO is approved by the Board, it will be sent to Clean Harbors Aragonite, LLC for signature. The time frames in the SCO will become effective upon thesignature date of the Director
