Discharge Permit No. UGW370004
Dear Ms. Weinel:
The Utah Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) has completed review of the Energy Fuels Resources (USA) Inc. (EFR), July18, 2024, State of Utah Ground Water Discharge
Permit No. UGW370004 White Mesa Uranium Mill – Removal of Certain Groundwater Monitoring Parameters from Accelerated Monitoring Status (DRC-2024-006262).
Per Review, EFR requests that the monitoring well parameterslisted on the table below be returned to baseline monitoring:
Monitoring Well
Parameter(s)
Number of Consecutive Sample Results Below (or above for pH) the GWCL
Baseline Monitoring Frequency
MW-27

It was noted per review of groundwater monitoring data, including independent review of field data sheets, thatNitrate+Nitrite as N and Fluoride sample results for MW-27have been below
the permitted Ground Water Compliance Limits (GWCLs) for eight or more consecutive accelerated sampling events.
Per past Division protocols, accelerated monitoring may be discontinued if at least eight consecutive samples show concentrations below (or above for pH)the GWCL, therefore, the request
to return to baseline monitoring for the wells/parameters on the table above is hereby approved.
