The Request recommends that the exposure pathway for groundwater ingestion be removed from the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Facility Investigation (RFI) Risk Assessment (RA) Addendum Work Plan, dated July 21, 2021. The Request indicates that the exposure pathway is incomplete in that groundwater is not used for potable use, not used for irrigation, no surface water ponds are present at the Site, and that all water used at the Site is supplied by the City of North Salt Lake. The Division agrees with the decision to remove the ingestion of groundwater exposure pathway. The Division has no comments or questions concerning the Request. The Request is hereby approved.
